How to Prepare Artwork For Embroidery

How do I prepare artwork for embroidery?

You are going to learn how our embroidery section works. We use Tajima machines for this purpose.

Almost any design can be embroidered on your merchandise, no matter if you need a small logo on the front or a big logo on the back of a hoodie or tee.

Vertical printing designs are most common on tousers nowadays.

We use premium-quality polyester threads.

File Resolution:

Recommended 300 dpi
Acceptable 150 dpi

File Size:

You need to provide the size of the print if you do not follow the standard practice. Suppose you need an 8″ x 8″ print, and you need to tell us.

If you are not sure what size you want, we recommend you use actual merchandise to measure the logo and see how different sizes look.

File Types:

We recommended using the.png,.jpeg, or .emb file formats. We accept file formats via email and WhatsApp. We are happy to receive vector files and other artwork formats.

Wilcom is the most common software to design your artwork.

Maximum Embroidery Size:

We accept the maximum print size of 13″ wide and 15″ high. However, some merchandise does not have a large enough embroiderable area. We can finalize the exact size when we are making your mockup or sample.

Color Matching:

We match the color with the thread catalog to achieve an accurate result. When you send us your artwork, we will match the color with our catalog and make a sample of the embroidery to see how it looks. We also show you the outcome, and on your approval, we will start your production.

Disclaimer: The embroidery may not match exactly what you see on the screen. There is a difference between how the colors are rendered on a mobile or computer screen versus how they look in screen printing. To solve this problem, we will ship you a sample so you can see in real life how the product is going to look.

The number of threads:

Mainly, the design contains 3 to 4 colors. We have 6-head and 9-head embroidery machines as well. If you have more than nine colors, we have specialized techniques for this purpose.
