The armhole is where a vest fails

Too tight and it cuts into the arm. Too deep, and it shows more than the customer wanted. An edge that twists after the first wash makes the whole piece look cheap. None of those get fixed by better fleece. They get fixed in the pattern before the first piece is cut.

A sleeveless build is defined entirely by the armhole: its depth sets whether the piece reads “gym” or “streetwear,” and its finish, bound, ribbed, or raw, sets the whole attitude of the garment. Get the armhole right, and the rest is a hoodie you already know.

Pre-shrunk and colorfast. Cold wash, dry low. Raw-cut armholes are designed to curl slightly for a deliberate cut-off look; ribbed and bound edges stay clean.

How to read armhole drop

Measured from the top of the shoulder straight down to the bottom of the armhole. The bigger the number, the deeper the cut.

How it grades

Each size steps up 3 cm in chest, 2 cm in length, and 1 cm in armhole drop. The cut looks the same on every size, from S to XL.
