SAMPLING FAQ

Common questions

It depends on the garment, fabric, and decoration, but you’ll never guess. We quote the sample fee upfront before any work starts. As a rough guide, a standard hoodie fit sample runs [fee range], and a fully decorated preproduction sample costs more because it matches exactly what bulk will look like. Your quote lists the exact figure with no add-ons after.

In most cases, yes. When you move to bulk, we credit the sample fee toward your production order (often in full, depending on order size). It means sampling lowers your risk without padding your final cost. We’ll confirm the exact credit on your quote.

As many as it takes to get it right. The fit-sample stage is built for iteration adjust measurements, silhouette, and detailing freely before we lock the pattern. Once you approve the pre-production sample, that piece becomes the sign-off standard every unit in bulk is checked against.

Yes. Send us a garment you like, and we’ll measure, pattern, and reproduce its fit and construction, then swap in your fabric, color, and branding. A reference piece is often the fastest route if you don’t have a tech pack, and if you need one, we’ll help you build it.
