The stripe is the brand cue
On track pants, the side stripe does the identity work, and how you make that stripe (taped, woven-in, or printed) changes both the look and the cost. Taping is crisp and premium; printing is the cheapest but can crack; a woven-in stripe is the most durable and the most expensive to set up. Tricot for sheen, poly for durability
Smooth tricot gives the classic retro track sheen and a fluid drape, the authentic ’78–’92 look. Poly twill is more matte, more durable, and holds a press. Nylon adds a technical, weatherable edge. Tricot is the pick for fashion/heritage; polyester for something that survives heavy wear. Recycled poly is available if sustainability is part of the pitch.

Make it yours, end to end
Beyond the stripe, brand the thigh, the ankle, and the chest of a matching top. Contrast piping and woven taping are branding surfaces in themselves. Embroidery sits well on poly twill; heat-transfer suits smooth tricot. Custom ankle-zip pulls and drawcord tips finish the sporty look.

The proto sample was cut and shipped (7–10 days), so you can check the block, rise, and proportion on a real body rather than a flat drawing.

Fit + fabric sign-off: we grade the full size run to your measurement chart and match lab-dips to your Pantone colors.

Pre-production (PP) sample locks every seam, trim, and label; nothing enters bulk until you approve it.

Bulk cut, sewn, and finished (4–6 weeks), then AQL 2.5 inspected before folding, polybagging, and cartoning.

Taped, woven or printed stripe what’s the difference?
Taping is a separate stripe stitched for crispness and premium. Woven-in is part of the fabric’s most durable, highest setup. Printed is the cheapest but can crack over time. We’ll price all three, so you choose based on look, durability, and budget.
Can you match a specific retro colourway?
Yes, we lab-dip and match the stripe and body to your Pantone colors and sample it before bulk production. Getting the exact stripe tone is the whole game on a heritage track pant.
Tricot or poly twill?
Tricot for the authentic retro sheen and fluid drape; poly twill for a more matte, durable, structured pant. Tricot reads fashion, poly reads sport.
