Classic joggers, tapered joggers, wide-leg sweatpants, and baggy pants aren’t four separate products to develop; they’re four leg treatments on the same elastic-drawcord waist and fleece body.
We build them together on purpose: you validate rise, waist recovery, and dye once, then branch the leg line into whichever cut your market wants.
That’s faster to sample, cheaper to grade, and keeps your set (hoodie + pant) reading as one family.

How the four cuts differ
Same waist, same fleece, the leg does the talking. Pick by how you want the garment to read on the body, not just by name.
Classic jogger
A clean mid-taper from thigh to a ribbed cuff. The everyday base is for broad market, easy to set with a hoodie. Best on 320–450gsm.
Tapered jogger
A slimmer, more athletic line narrowing to a snug ribbed ankle. Reads performance and premiums. Best at 320-400 gsm for movement.
Wide-leg sweatpants
Open from the thigh with a deliberate straight drape, open or elasticated hem. The volume-forward, fashion cut. Best on 350-500 gsm so it hangs.
Baggy pants
Maximum volume hip-to-floor with a puddling hem is the boldest street statement. Best in heavy fleece, twill, or denim for weight.

Fabric & Construction
Fleece weight is the whole decision
With sweats, the fabric weight does more for perceived quality than any trim. 320 gsm terry is light and summer-friendly. 400 gsm brushed-back is the safe premium middle; 450-500 gsm loopback gives that structured, drapes-with-weight hand buyers associate with elevated brands, and it’s essential if you want the wide-leg and baggy cuts to hang instead of collapse. We garment-wash to pre-shrink so your graded measurements survive the first laundry.
Branding & Private Label
Make it yours, end to end
You brand every touchpoint. Woven or heat-transfer main labels at the waistband, printed or embroidered logos on the thigh and hip, custom metal or silicone drawcord tips, and matching hangtags and packaging. Because joggers usually ship as sets, we cut the hoodie or crew from the same dye lot so the pair matches exactly no off-tone surprises between top and bottom.
Development & Sampling
From tech pack to bulk
The same seven-step path runs whether you order one silhouette or all four, and because they share a waist, samples for the whole family move together.

Send your tech pack, sketch, or a reference pair you like; if there’s no tech pack, we reverse-engineer the pattern from the sample.

We will quote within 24 hours based on your fabric weight, decoration, and target Incoterm and then confirm the spec in writing.

The proto sample was cut and shipped (7–10 days), so you can check the block, rise, and proportion on a real body rather than a flat drawing.

Fit + fabric sign-off: we grade the full size run to your measurement chart and match lab-dips to your Pantone colors.

Pre-production (PP) sample locks every seam, trim, and label; nothing enters bulk until you approve it.

Bulk cut, sewn, and finished (4–6 weeks), then AQL 2.5 inspected before folding, polybagging, and cartoning.

Ship FOB or DDP with your main labels, care labels, hangtags, and packaging already on the garment.

Buyer questions
Can I order more than one silhouette in the same run?
Yes, that’s the point of building them off one block. You can split a dye lot across classic, tapered, wide-leg, and baggy and share the fabric setup. We structure the quote so the shared costs aren’t charged four times.
Which cut should a new brand launch with?
The classic tapered jogger is the broadest-market fit and the safest place to prove your waist, rise, and grading. Once that block is approved, re-cutting the wide-leg or baggy is fast and cheap.
What fabric weight do you recommend for wide-leg and baggy?
350-500gsm and up. Volume-forward cuts need weight to drape; a light terry on wide legs just looks flat and cheap. Heavier loopback, twill, or denim gives the intentional hang buyers pay for.
Do you make matching hoodies or crews for sets?
Yes, cut from the same dye lot so the top and bottom match exactly. Most jogger orders ship as sets of hoodies
Elastic, drawcord, or both at the waist?
Both are standard covered elastic that carries the fit; the drawcord fine-tunes it and gives you a branding surface via custom tips. Elastic-only reads cleaner for minimal designs.
