How Set Matching Works

Why our sets actually match

Most mismatched sets fail before sewing starts tops and bottoms cut from different fabric batches never match, no matter how good the factory. Set manufacturing is a batch-discipline problem, and we solve it structurally.

01

One dye lot, one roll

The top and bottom are cut from the same fabric batch, same dye lot, and same roll where possible. Color matching isn’t injected into the set; it’s built in before cutting.

02

One production run

Both pieces run through decoration, washing, and finishing together, so prints, washes, and trims age from the identical starting point.

03

Set-level QC

Inspection pairs the actual set: top and bottom are checked together for shade, trim match, and proportion, not as two separate garments that happen to ship in one carton.

Fabrics & Weights

Set fabrics we stock and source

A set’s fabric has to work on a top and a bottom simultaneously drape on the body, recovery at the knees and elbows. All knits pre-shrunk before cutting.

Fabric Weight range Used for
Brushed-back fleece 400-500gsm Heavyweight sweat sets, hoodie + jogger sets
Loopback / French terry 320-400gsm Mid-weight sets, shorts sets, warmer climates
Tricot 220-280gsm Tricot and retro 90s tracksuits: the glossy heritage look
Poly interlock 200-260gsm Basketball warm-ups, matte athletic sets
Velour 260-320gsm Velour tracksuits plush pile, Y2K revival sets
Bonded tech fleece 300-360gsm Tech fleece tracksuits, tapered athletic sets
Mix & Match

Sets built your way

A set is a pairing decision, not a fixed product. Every set is assembled from our proven single-piece blocks, the same patterns behind our hoodie, tee, and bottoms ranges, so any top can pair with any bottom.

Mix silhouettes

  • Oversized hoodie + tapered jogger: the classic streetwear ratio
  • Boxy crew + wide-leg sweatpants: the volume-forward set
  • Cropped hoodie and biker shorts, the women’s-line staple
  • Zip track top + track pant: the heritage suit, stripes matched from one trim run
  • Any combination from your tech pack built on graded blocks we’ve already proven

Mix sizes & drops

  • Split top and bottom sizes: S top with M bottom counts as one set; real bodies aren’t one size
  • Size curves are yours; set your own S–XL breakdown inside the MOQ
  • Sell as sets or separates pieces are labelled and packed for either retail model
  • Reorder-stable dye recipes and trim specs kept on file so next season’s set matches this one
How It Works

MOQ & Pricing

One MOQ per set, said plainly

  • MOQ is 50 sets per style; that’s 50 tops + 50 bottoms (100 garments) counted as one minimum, not two separate MOQs stacked. Some factories count it both ways; we say which. We accept MOQ per colorway.
  • The set price is quoted as one number, top + bottom itemized inside it. No “coordination fees” or matching surcharges.
  • Fabric class sets the base; a 500gsm fleece set, a tricot suit, and a velour set are different cost tiers.
  • Decorations on two-piece placements across the top and bottom are itemized, so you choose where branding earns its cost.
  • Order volume set price steps down at 100 / 300 / 500 set tiers.
  • Sample set cost is credited against your bulk order. If you order more than 100 sets.

Get a per-unit price in 24 hours

Common Questions

Yes an S top with an M bottom counts as one set, and your size curve can split top and bottom independently inside the MOQ. Real customers aren’t one size top and bottom; your order shouldn’t have to pretend they are.

One. 50 sets means 50 tops plus 50 bottoms, 100 garments, as a single minimum. We don’t stack a separate MOQ per piece, and the set price is quoted as one number with both garments itemized inside it.

Brushed fleece (400–500gsm) for heavyweight sweat sets, loopback terry for mid-weight and shorts sets, tricot for the glossy retro suit, poly interlock for matte athletic warm-ups, velour for the plush Y2K set, and bonded tech fleece for tapered athletic sets. The style page for each set covers its fabric in detail.

Structurally, both pieces are cut from the same dye lot, the same fabric batch, and the same roll where possible and produced in one coordinated run. The color match is decided before cutting, then verified again at set-level QC. Mismatched sets come from factories cutting pieces from different batches; we don’t.

Yes, any top block can pair with any bottom block. Oversized + tapered, boxy + wide leg, cropped + biker short, or any combination from your tech pack. Sets are assembled from the same proven patterns behind our hoodie and bottoms ranges.

Yes, pieces are labeled and can be packed individually with coordinated size tagging, so you can retail the set, the separates, or both. Tell us the retail model, and we pack to it.

Slightly coordinating fabric across two garments adds planning, which is why bulk runs 4–6 weeks. But development doesn’t double: one sampling cycle covers both pieces, fitted together, so a set reaches production nearly as fast as a single style.

Yes, dye recipes, trim specs, and graded patterns are kept on file per style, so reorders and new colorways grade from the same standard. Reorder consistency is the whole point of set discipline.

Yes, matched placements across the top and bottom (chest + thigh hits, embroidery pairs, waistband, and hood labels) are proofed together on the PP set so the branding reads as one system, not two garments.
